I graduated from Yale University in 2015 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Studio Art and East Asian Studies. Soon after I moved to Tokyo, Japan, where I did college counseling and taught English for five years at a junior and senior high school. While I was in Japan, I conducted admissions interviews for Yale College. I know exactly what it takes to get into the Ivy League schools and can help you to build an authentic college application that will increase your chance of getting into top tiers schools. I have extensive and experience tutoring students in the reading and writing portions of the SAT, preparing students for interviews, helping students with admissions essays, and teaching general writing and reading comprehension skills in addition to college counseling and essay writing. My aim is always to cater to my teaching style and materials to my student’s interests, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each and every one of my students.
